Dynamic Church of Eurasia

"Welcome to the ministry of Dynamic Church of Eurasia. We trust this ministry will be a blessing to you and your church as together we develop a biblical vision for effective ministry in your church."

Dynamic Church of Eurasia, DCE, was founded on January 1, 2005. DCE's goal is to assist evangelical church leaders, church planters and cross-cultural missionaries who minister in the former Soviet Union to transform existing churches and plant new ones which are "dynamic," reflecting the biblical model of the local church. Therefore the mission statement of DCE is:

"Building a dynamic church."

The vision statement is:

"Assisting Eurasian missionaries, church planters and church leaders through providing a biblical church model, training and mentoring, resulting in a dynamic church"

Currently Randy is writing a manual which is close to being completed. After translation and printing, the goal is to have the manual distributed and sold throughout the 15 countries of the former Soviet Union. DCE will provide seminars which will primarily focus on presenting a biblical ecclesiology of the church; and then where desired, advising and mentoring pastors, church planters and missionaries.

The biblical foundation of DCE is based upon Ephesians 4:11-16:

"And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love." (NASB)

This passage provides both the biblical purpose of church leadership (perfecting the saints) and the foundational goal of the church (maturing in love). Therefore, DCE seeks to help church leaders fulfill their role as equippers of the saints for effective ministry so that the entire body of Christ might mature, being girded in love (cf. Col 3:14), resulting in a more dynamic local church ministry.
